One common application is to connect flash sync for a radio slave transmitter such as a pocket wizard, cybersync transmitter, skyport transmitter, or other brand of transmitter, to the screwlock PC connector on many cameras (see list). This would allow a TTL flash to be mounted on the camera hotshoe and the FZ #0273 to provide a hotshoe for the radio transmitter. The hotshoe has a ¹⁄₄" - 20 TPI hole and shoe rails, with lock, for easy bracket mounting.
