This cable will allow a Pocket Wizard to remotely fire the shutter of the cameras cited below (see list). This cable is sometimes referred to as a "Motor Drive Cable" or a "Pre-Release Cable".

The cable is heavy-duty and approximately 54 inches (135 cm) long.

This cable has a switch. This allows the pre-release condition to be turned on and off. In the off position, the camera's controls can be conveniently adjusted without the need to unplug the cable from the camera.
