This hotshoe adapter can be used with either the Radio Popper JrX "Basic" receiver or the Radio Popper JrX "Studio" receiver and several popular Nikon SB flash units.

Note the functional capability is different depending on which version of the Radio Popper JrX receiver used ("Basic" or "Studio").
Capabilities when used with the "Basic" JrX receiver:

Provides basic sync but no remote power level control from the JrX transmitter.

Flash must be set to manual mode and the desired power level set on the flash unit.

Works with SB-24, SB-25, SB-26, SB-27, SB-28, SB-28DX, SB-80DX, SB-600, SB-800 and SB-900.
Capabilities when used with the "Studio" JrX receiver:

Provides sync.

Provides remote power level control set from the JrX transmitter.

For remote power control the flash must be set to TTL mode.

Works with SB-24, SB-25, SB-26, SB-27, SB-28, SB-28DX, SB-80DX, SB-600, and SB-800.

Remote power control is not possible with the Nikon SB-900, but the "Studio" vision of the JrX receiver can function in basic flash set manual mode with the SB-900, as described above.
